I did just that Alan.  That's how I knew it was missing only the
beginning part of the file.  I tried cutting and pasting the beginning
part of a similar file that was not corrupted.  I tried a few
different amounts of the good file's beginning.  But none worked.
It did actual try to load the file for viewing (which it didn't
before).   But I got a message something like "unable to draw...".
Thanks for your help, though.
