Subj : Sporder.dll<->trojan ? To : ALL From : THURSTON ACKERMAN Date : Thu Feb 03 2005 04:37 pm My recent 02/01\05 updates of AVG 7.0 have found SPORDER.DLL and Sporder.exe as a Trojan Horse dialer 17.H and "healed" same by deleteing them from the Win98se in my Systemax Tiger and my IBM Aptiva 300 systems. Ran "\Find" on my XYL's H-P 750n XP-Home and found both of the SPORDERs were located in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\ created Oct.15,2001 as version 4.0.1381.1 (described as WinSock2 reorder providers by M/S) The dates and authorship tend to make me suspect these may have been miss-identified as trojans by Grissoft. Any other experience please? Ciao, Ack. --- þ SLMR 2.1a þ It's only a hobby ... only a hobby ... only a * Origin: Try Our Web Based QWK: DOCSPLACE.ORG (1:123/140) .
