My first PC was a 286-12 -> and I paid over $1800 for it. When I got it home, I opened it up and was -> amazed at how little there was to it. So, I've never bought an assembled -> PC until lately. The author of 'Lindows' (Linux with windows) has placed a -> nice computer with a local franchise for less than $200, including -> everything but a monitor. IMO, the OS sucks, but the computer was worth -> the money. I advise anyone that already has an Operating System CD and CD's for theri Favorate software to buy one of those, dump the "Lindows" OS, and install their programs.
