When I ran my BBS under DESQview, I would run into the same problem... lost 
time. I used the following to fix it:

CMOSTIME.ZIP     5876 14-Mar-95  CmosTime v1.0 - Refreshes the DOS Time
                                 from the PC's Real Time Clock.

I put "cmostime.zip" into Google and it found it at:
