I didn't change anything in the setup, but I did use my favorite text editor to make changes to my Favorites list. When I deleted Favorite.htm, my problem was gone -- I guess that means I can't use the editor on the Favorite.htm file. ? Something else I discovered... IE is depositing a Favorite.htm and Global.htm (zero byte files) in the root of my boot drive. I will try: Set favorite=C:\Wfw\Ie Set global=C:\Wfw\Ie to see if that will get rid of the pesky zero byte files. When is a good time to delete everything in C:\Wfw\Ie\Cache? Startup? Shutdown? Once a week? This directory can get very bloated after visiting a few web sites.... Cheers ... Gerald .... I found the answer . . . but forgot the question --- GoldED+/DPMI32 v1.1.5-040330 [msg of Friday January 21 2005] * Origin: Nature never gives everything at once. (1:342/512) .
