Perhaps you could restore your system to the previous setting before the change. A GPF is often a hardware conflict between say 2 different programs trying to use the speaker or other like video i/o. Maybe both are trying to access the same memory etc. Old dos apps are bad for this. GPF's are typically fatal in win3.x, 98se is better but takes much longer to startup than w95 but w95 is about as bad as win3.x with GPF's. Mike .... Ok, I pulled the pin. Now what?.....Hey!
