 Yes it was. But for some reason the San Diego general area has always
been Very Computer Aware. At one time we had the MOST broadband
wired Downtown of any city in the United States.
And the great side effect of all those BBS's spreading the word and
computer aware people was a Multitude of small computer stores which
meant lots of Competition and the resulting lower prices.
