Typicaly you have the TW> Side/Bottom of the TW> case on one slde of the PCI slots and the AGP card or CPU fan on the TW> other. How do you plug in anything to the Riser? I agree. My personal investigation about riser cards (after someone here mentioned the term) lead me to a basic conclusion: riser cards seem to be intended for rack-mount systems, not typical consumer pc cases,as is mentioned in the first sentence at: http://www.tmc-uk.com/supports/general_faqs/riser_card.htm ) My original understanding was that there existed PCI multipliers/extension kits or something that WOULD be suitable for typical pc mobos and cases. I guess that they are simply not feasible. However, I did suggest that the person replace a PCI-based device with a USB version (mode, soundcard, etc..), and then use the "free" PCI slot for a USB card. Then the system is expandable with USB devices. d(-_-)b ...August --- FMail/Win32 1.60 * Origin: http://www3.sympatico.ca/abo (1:229/390) .
