Thank you for the attempt to educate but I really do know what
a 'riser card' is. IBM used them in the PS2 machines (they
called them 'planar panels' and ACER used them to get a smaller
desktop footprint for their desktop machines.  My COMPAQ 560
uses a riser for it's cards for the same reason I would guess.

I don't think there is any way to add a riser to my whitebox
tower and if there was a way I wouldn't do it anyhow.
