I appreciate your information so don't take this as criticism
of you ... 

I don't want "The New Generation", I want the old generation
serial port external _all_ hardware modem. Nothing in the specs
tells me it's a serial port connector nor that it is _all_ in
hardware. 

I guess I would prefer a disclaimer saying that the part number
so-and-so is NOT a Rockwell, not a winmodem, and does not rely
on drivers/tsr/or any type of shared memory/software mickey
mouse setup. I know - too much to hope for but that's what I
want and it's my wish-list. :-)
