I ->>> suspect it is either Rockwell or a Winmodem? ->> I suspect vthat is mostly the Junk they provide on the ->> Install CD. WC> That's what I deduced from it's Linux and DOS compatibilty. WC> It's the 56XS-92 that's got it's own controller. WC> The 5 meg is for FAX and the like. Could be. I accidently bought a Rockwell modem years ago and then didn't read the box closely when purchasing an internal for my daughter and bought the 'no jumpers' PCI USR for the same price as the one with jumpers. I am really sick-n-tired of having to read all the fine print with a magnifying glass when making a purchase lately. :-( WC> I'm at 56k here now due to the generousity of Jay Emrie :-) Good to hear! WC> Special thanks to annonymous, Jim Holsonback, Charles WC> Angelich and Jim Emrie as without their generosity I'd have WC> never gotten it together here. Us 'FIDO guys' have to stick together. :-) > > , , > o/ Charles.Angelich \o , > <| |> __o/ > / > USA, MI < \ __\__ --- * ATP/16bit 2.31 * ....
