Subj : limited to USB 1? To : WAYNE CHIRNSIDE From : TOM WALKER Date : Fri Dec 31 2004 12:04 pm -> -> Why are you limited to USB 1? You can get USB 2 adapters, with drivers, for -> -> under $10 USD (at Tiger). -> Yup sure can. -> I'd need a slot stretcher however as the sound card and BIOS'ed -> greater than 34 Gig I/O card and sound card take them all. -> Hewlett Packard Pavilion. IF one stays away from External CD/DVD burners and Large 500K to 1 gig file transfers to the USB device one can live with USB-1 quite easily. I use my 256Mb USB flash drive frequently on a USB-1 machine, The one I am using right now. And I am happy. I also use my USB 4 gig hard drive once i na while. I just have to wait a bit longer for the files to transfer. --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5 * Origin: Try Our Web Based QWK: DOCSPLACE.ORG (1:123/140) .
