I have an older MoBo with USB 1.x but use a Phoebe V90/V34 external off COM2
with great success (V1456VQE). Continental calls work great plus I get calls
from a few overseas systems now and then and they connect just fine. It uses
the Rockwell chip which is fully doc'd and very flexible. Picked it up from
www.jdr.com and it's been running 24/7 since July 1997.  [:^)
