Replying to a message of Tom Walker to Wayne Chirnside: TW> Better make that move in the Near Future. The Printers with a TW> parallel port input are disappearing from the Market. I just picked up a HUGE 132-column, 24-pin Panasonic dot-matrix printer from a thrift store last night for a whopping $12.12. ;) It works too! I just keep buying old printers... they seem to last a long time. My favorite DMP died when our cat peed in it (no kidding)... :/ But I really like this new one. Have any of you looked on eBay? I have seen literally thousands of printers (older ones) that are for sale for like $1... of course, it's the shipping that will kill you. The Panasonic I bought must weigh at least 30 pounds. It would have crushed my foot if I'd have dropped it!
