 In my searching for Serial External Mpodems In also looked at several
USB modems. I found NO indication that the USB-2 Modems are NOt backward
compatable with USB-1. Amnd concidering the speed advantage of even
USB-1 over serial I cannot imagine any problems.
But as I mentioned in another post if one has an "Adversion" to Win
Modems beware and check carefully as Some USB modems are Win-Modems,
IE: Controllerless and depend on Software and the MB CPU for any
processing power necessary.
