Doesn't work with the OEM software installation CD seeing the drive on the third primary IDE channel. disable the motherboard I/O and without ATAPI support on the Promise card I've no CD access to install. -> Then use "fips" to cut the disk down to how much you want windows -> to have. This will should avoid partition boundary problems. Problem works out to Promise card lacks ATAPI support and with the secondary primary enabled for my CD the hard drive is seen as the third primary IDE channel, Windows desn't make it through the reboot to install.
