Yeah but I got booted _preemtively_ from an echo for something I never
posted in the echo but rather to another echo!!!

Side note to Ross Cassell.
I replied to Howie here as he inquired both in politics and this echo.
I'd temporarily forgotten the BBS I'd netmail access to.

For something topical someone out there in Fidonet sent me a large
hard drive as an annonymous free gift!!!

Still have to get a BIOS'ed I/O card as it's too big for this 
BIOS.

I DID however manage to _start_ the process of installling Windows 98
with an old Promise I/O card but the OEM software Windows
CD failed when it called for a reboot to complete installation.

Only got that far as I fdisked the drive with Linux.

Dog's health permitting I may snag a Belkins I/0 card for New Years!

Think I'll give Windows 8 Gig and carve up the other 57 Gig
Linux native and a swap partition.
