More and more I find that even uploading digital photos to photo album sites is tedious when I am contending with barely 26kbps on the upload. The satellite solutions barely guarantee 50kbps on the upload. So.. if I am already waiting 40 minutes to upload a few meg of material, even some PowerPoint files, etc.. I think 20 minutes is still a long time. And with all the freebie 250mb storage capacities that YahooMail, Excite, MSN, and Netscape are offering, upload speed to fill all that up is important too. Yup.. the satellite solution has a long way to go for improvement compared to the bang for the buck that DSL provides. But then there is a component of the public, myself, for whom a DSL serive is not available, but a satellite solution would be. d(-_-)b ...August --- FMail/Win32 1.60 * Origin: http://ld.net/?kolico (1:229/390) .
