The reason they take so long is that the rebates are dealt with by a handful of 
clearing houses, your popular ones are in Minnesota, Illinois and Arizona. It 
takes so long because of the sheer volume of rabates they deal with and of 
course they have to verify that you satisfied the terms of the rebate..

Rebates are a gamble, those offering it, mostly the manufacturers, are counting 
on a percentage of people not submitting them for redemption or incorrectly 
submitting them.


Rebates are simple to do, those who have problems with them are the ones who 
cant follow 3rd grade instructions.
