I failed to mention that the LinkSys WAP had TWO antennas and the D-Link
has only ONE and still the D-Link WIFI covers a greater distance.

So far ALL (which isn't very many) the WIFI antennas I have looked at
could be removed by just unscrewing at the antenna base.
