Unless my memory is more fragged than usual; I seem to remember
you also are a practicer of genealogy and may be aware your
Walkers gained their surname from some Anglo-ancestors that
walked over newly woven cloth in a wooden trough of water as
they sprinkled fuller's earth over the wettened cloth to make
it "fuller" by filling in between the weave (whence my middle
name of "Fuller" was acquired by my Scotish ancesteral members
of the same workers guild).
