 NOT quite. But it is a base of economics that Hardware prices will drop
as Production rises. Everything in the Supply chain is cheaper becomes
with rising consumption of the Individual parts. Have you ever seen the
Discounts for Lots of 100,000 or more.
And in a mechanical process the production process improvements will
lower costs.
NOT so with the Human Brain. There has been little improvement in the
Human Brain. PLUS the Time needed to produce Software has risen
dramaticly as we demand more and more complex Software. So while the
"COST" of making the computer itself is FALLING the "COST" of producing
the Software is RISING!!
And I will not even address the "After Sale" services we Demand from the
Software side of the Computer World.
