Subj : Win XP :-( To : TOM WALKER From : JEAN PARROT Date : Thu Sep 29 2005 10:15 am Hello Tom, nice talking to you ! TW> IF I was working with a "Pre-Installed" version like you I "may" have TW> done it but I have to FIGHT the Re-Activation thing. It is not a fight, Tom. If you start from a clean HD, the two .wpa files are not there and MS will honour your activation as for a new system. I know, I have done it a few times now for my own use and for others. This OEM redo of day before yesterday was so smooth the validation was not even seen but you and I know that it is in a Dell CMOS. Doing my own system, I only had to click on : This system is always connected to internet and it took over from there, connected to MS and was done in a wink. Did not hurt at all. Again in Kamouraska ! Have a great day ! ___ Blue Wave/DOS v2.30 --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5 * Origin: Try Our Web Based QWK: DOCSPLACE.ORG (1:123/140) .
