Subj : Win XP :-( To : TOM WALKER From : JEAN PARROT Date : Wed Sep 28 2005 09:20 am Hello Tom, nice talking to you ! TW> I am used to getting that advice from those types. It just goes TW> straight through and I do NOT pay any attention. But Tom, it might be required. It will take two hours out of your day but will solve amny problems. Everybody who have loaded XP can use both write pads. I do and I am no wiz. I redid a system again yesterday, the HD had mechanically crashed, on a Dell, with an OEM CD and XP Pro loaded smoothly and all apps are there. I did on purpose look at and used Wordpad and Notepad. The problem was in opening the case to extract and instal the new HD. Dell ran out of 80 g HDs so they sent a 160 g one. Again in Kamouraska !
