Since Win2000 and XP use neither autoexec.bat nor config.sys, it
really doesn't make any difference what he puts in them. <g>  Those
files are only there in the root for older Win programs that have to
"see" them in order to work properly.

He needs to have the proper notation for TZ in his autoexec.nt or
config.nt files (if required).
