However, I have both Good News and Bad News about True IMAGE ver. 9 I Purchased and registered True Image 8, and Acronis gave me a Free Registered Copy of the NEW True Image 9... The ONLY thing I don't like about it, is that I Does not Backup/Image to Blank DVD's, It works Great on CD-R's and CD-RW's But a Full backup Image takes 17-20 CD's and ONLY 4-5 DVD's, but True Image will ONLY, Backup to "PRE-FORMATED" DVD-RW Disk and Both CD and DVD's don't come Pre-Formated, Acronis Recomends that you Pre-Format the DVD-RW's with "INcd" Format Utility that comes with the $95.00 Version of Ahead's "NERO" ver. 6.6 Why should you have to Spend $100.00 on a Competitors Product to have full use of True Image?? As Luck would have it, I did Buy the full Version of NERO 6.6 and True Image did finally Backup to Pre-formated DVD-RW's Formated by Nero's "INcd" utility Basicly what true Image did was create 17 seperate CD files and Store them on 5 Pre-Formated DVD-RW disk.. To finish up this Long Story, I found out that NERO Burning rom 6.6 does everything that True Image does and IMHO, Better, and NERO has Full Support for Blank CD-R's CD-RW and DVD-R's & DVD-RW (Plus or Minus) and with back up to Unformatted DVD-R faster Plus NERO has a Great LightScribe Disk Labler and Biult-in Anti Virus checker.. So for thos who don't want to Spend the Buck twice, Just go for Ahead's NERO Burnning ROM 6.6..
