True enough but wouldn't it be also true that there are some
rough edges for most (if not all) OS for personal computers? 

I took 10 years to tweak my W31 to a point that it was stable
and useful to me. It took 4 months to stop W2K from crashing
(IOMEGA Zip Drive software that had to be edited out of the
registry). I expect it would take me as long to get XP to work
as I expect it to work. :-)

My point in mentioning those retail outlets is that Linspire
has done a great deal to introduce linux to 'the masses'. More
than most others who _also_ intend to profit from selling linux
and linux software. 

Even if we don't personally chose to use Linspire there is no
reason to not credit them for what they have done that was
right as we fault them for their mistakes.
