Just purchased the upgrade to Acronis True Image - now at version 9.

The new version has the capability to create backup images of files
and folders separately without having to make an image of the entire
partition or hard drive.   A very handy tool to use for making selective
backup images.

Version 9 is actually two programs in one - backup and image.   Of course
all its features from the previous version are still there.   Plus some
added nice looks to the interface and a wider variety of options available.

If you don't need the selective backup capability, there's probably
no reason to upgrade and spend the $29.99.
