What kind of telescope do you have?  Remember the Questar line of
telescopes back in the 60s and early 70s?   Very high quality made and
expensive.  Nowadays there are so many Questar imitations around
(mostly from the far east).

Don't see too many good astronomy programs around any more but here's a
site that at least has freeware:
