        I am using, Jay, the table that comes with this editor, TSE
  Jr. It is a bit tedious to use but does the job. The ASCII scale
  only goes to 255 here. If I do not rememebr the Alt+ xxx code, I
  then have to use it. é is what I get on my Thinkpad if I do the
  0233. Really funny and non-standard.
