Subj : IE and Adobe add-on To : All From : Gerald Miller Date : Thu Sep 22 2005 06:53 am Hello All, My neighbour has a problem (on his Windows XP Home) with Internet Explorer and the Adobe Reader add-on... He is an editor for a hobbyist newsletter (www.asms.ca) and when he goes to the site to view his work, I.E. won't activate the Reader add-on. In Internet Explorer managing add-ons it reads: Name: AcroIEHlprObjClass Publisher: Adobe Systems,Inc Status: Enabled Type: Browser Helper Object File: AcroIEHelper.dll Would someone please provide some suggestions on how he might correct this problem (and, no, he doesn't want to use Mozilla / Firefox)? Thanks ... Gerald --- GoldED+/DPMI32 v1.1.5-040330 [msg of September 22, 2005] * Origin: As smart as a sack full of wet mice. (1:342/512) .
