Subj : Linspire 5.0 To : TOM WALKER From : CHARLES ANGELICH Date : Fri Sep 16 2005 07:19 pm 123c77bc87a4 win95 Hello Tom - TW> IF Linspire Locks you into their CNR programs is something TW> I was courious about also. I can't say from hands on experience but the methods used to auto-install software varies from distribution to distribution and it appears that Linspire did not include a way to use other distributions software which is understandable since Linspire is a commercial entity attempting to generate monies to pay their people with. :-) For $19 a year I would think having a high level of confidence that the install would function properly is worthwhile. Linspire is aimed at novice Linux users who need all the help they can get. > > , , > o/ Charles.Angelich \o , > <| |> __o/ > / > USA, MI < \ __\__ --- * ATP/16bit 2.31 * ....
