As I recall, Alan's comment about Linux users (I called them elitists) who think than anyone using a computer should be able to compile was what started this thread. Ack doesn't compile and wants to read Fido in Linux. CS suggested PAN, etc., from Ross's news server as an alternative, and now YOU tell him and everyone else to.... learn to compile (implied) and use what everyone else (linux users?) are using??? :-) That's not only elitism.
