The answer was : "If you're gonna do that, why not AA> GH> just go Windows!" Alien mindset! AA>A sad commentary indeed. :( MS has succeeded in brainwashing them to AA>think no alternatives exist. I* can see the Logic. Senior Citizens are very computer unaware. I have worked with several and even the Smallest difernces can trip them up. While they are Good the LINUX lookalike GUI's cound through a great deal of confusion in the the picture. POarticualrly if hte Senior Has Windows at home and is in the Senior Center to learn Computers. Of course if that is the only place they will ever touch a computer it might work. FACE it, Like it or NOT Windows is the Computing Operating of basicly hte World. Adn IF linux wants to break into hte Home market they are going to have to do a MUCH better jopb of making it look and operate like windows. The purists of course disagree and I think they are to ones seriously holding back the Development of LIUNUX for the Home user. --- þ SLMR 2.1a þ This note from El Cajon California USA * Origin: Try Our Web Based QWK: DOCSPLACE.ORG (1:123/140) .
