You shouldn't be able to print from either the Win98SE box or the W2K box, if the printer is connected directly to the XPP box and the XPP box is off. If what you say is true, then my suspicion is that your printer is connected to a port (print server) in your router. If that is the case, the printer setup on any individual computer in the network is different, than if the printer is directly connected to one of the network computers. Regards, Robert Fowler ....
