Intel only put in $16 million, Enterprise Investors put in the
balance of the $52 million.

Nothing official that I know of as yet, no. Everyone thought
DRDOS would continue the free legacy versions after it was
purchased but that turned out to be false hope. 

There is the somewhat bloated/slow AVAST and an attempt at
creating an opensource virus scanner called EWIDO?
