InFocus states there is no known conflicts between the projector and the Toshiba laptop. Chopped off ONLY at the bottom? Not on the sides or top? Also, when booting up the correct (not chopped off anywhere) boot up screens are displayed on the projector but the computer screen is black then. I have since installed a monitor in place of the projector and get identical results. So it isn't the projector - it is the laptop. When booting up, the external monitor displays the Windows boot displays and the laptop screen is black. After the boot up is complete, the external monitor goes black and the laptop screen takes over. So far I have been unable to get into the BIOS setup of the laptop. There is scads of messages on this very thing - stating the BIOS is inaccessible on some Toshiba laptops! I will call Toshiba next week and hope they have a possible solution.
