JE> Jay I'm not aware of any reasons why a particular projector model wouldn't be compatible with Win XP (or other windows version), but as I mentioned, there are no interface standards for the hardware/software controls on laptops-- so each manufacturer (and sometimes each model) reinvents the wheel... you may want to see if there's a manual for your model available for download or viewing online. If your notebook is set for (say) 1024x768 and the projector tops out at 800x600 (which is quite possible with an older projector), you might be seeing the image chopped off as you describe-- try setting your laptop to 800x600 (even if it doesn't fill the whole LCD screen) and see how it looks through the projector. ....
