We have already determined that PP will NOT project the quality of picture suitable for competition. Picasa, Irfamview and Serif are image modification applications, not high quality image projection programs. At least that is the consensus of several of our members who are reasonably up on things. I already have Picasa. Great for it's intended purpose. In club competitions, the ability to resize, crop etc. is not usable DURING the competition - that must be done BEFORE the images are submitted for competition projection. Most of the members doing digital entries already have Photoshop or one of the above mentioned programs. I will present your thoughts to the membership for the benefit of those that haven't already obtained a program. Could well be a good starting point for many. Thanks a lot for the info.
