It is not in the Recycle Bin JE> either. The owner has no idea where, why or how it disappeared JE> to. JE> Any idea how to restore the My Computer icon. A few ideas from that thar InterWeb... Can you still access My Computer via Windows Explorer? It should be one step down from Desktop on the left side. You can "create a shortcut" on the Desktop if you like. Has My Computer been moved to somewhere in the Start menu? Was there a "Desktop theme" that was installed and removed? There are (non-recommended) Registry hacks that make it invisible. Try deleting ShellIconCache (in C:\Windows) and rebooting. .... -- az (co-moderator: Win95) email to: alan at zisman dot ca --- MultiMail/Win32 v0.46 * Origin: COMM Port OS/2 juge.com 204.89.247.1 (281) 980-9671 (1:106/2000) .
