I think the CA>> difficulty making the transition to a GUI is much CA>> overstated. TW> I NEVER had any trouble with a GUI. Even the First time I TW> sat down in front of an Apple LISA computer things went TW> smoothly. And my Fixation with DOS is NOT with the CLI but TW> I just have several DOS programs that I see NO NEED to give TW> up. One is my Checkbook Program. IT FULLY fills my Needs TW> and I concider it IDIOTIC to buy a Bloated program with TW> functions that I would Never use. The other one is my TW> Favored BBS comm program TELIX. Again the modern BLOATED TW> programs seem IDIOTIC to me. TELIX was my very first PC terminal application on my old XT machine. I think it was version 2.15 if I remember correctly. Very good software. I started using COMMO after that because it was the fastest terminal I could find and very very small too. :-) > > , , > o/ Charles.Angelich \o , > <| |> __o/ > / > USA, MI < \ __\__ --- * ATP/16bit 2.31 * ....
