 You are aware, are you not, that W2K is a level behind XP on
 the M.S. upgrade eligilibity matrix, and it is eligible for
 upgrade to XP Pro only.

 I would want to be quite certain of the implications of Vista
 on this matrix before I would recommend any new machine with
 W2K installed.

 Despite your infatuation with W2K, that could prove to be a
 very costly error.
