The machines I owned in 92,93,94 werent good enough to support Windows 95.

Beyond that, some of my machines since then werent good enough for certain 
things.

My car isnt good enough for Four wheeling in the mud.

My tennis shoes arent good enough for running.

Microsoft made available HCL's (Hardware compatibility lists), you could have 
checked your hardware against them before investing the 99 to 199 in XP.

Never erect a house on a bad, weak or insufficient foundation, I can throw more 
cliche's at you if you need?

If your personal needs didnt exceed Win98SE, why did you bother?

At some point in time your needs might exceed 98SE, worry about new hardware, 
XP/Vista then.
