(Just FYI) OK, here's what I want to do: At the same time I call Irex (registered owner), I want to run Argus to handle IP chores that Irex can't do (Telnet and RAW mail exchanges). Right now, I can do a Start Argus and run it in another window, with an exit.now at the bottom of the batch file to close Argus when I'm done, but I'm concerned that Argus may take longer to do its thing than Irex. If that happens, Irex will hang up the phone, and I don't want that. So, I eyeball something that will dial the phone, do what I want it to do, and then hang up when I tell it to hang up. Optimally, I'll do this with Irex, of course, if you guys know a way. Thanks to both of you. --- * Origin: Il Vaticano * Lewisville, TX (1:393/9005.13) .
