No problem - boot from the NT CD or floppies and choose Repair.  When the
prompt comes up, choose to check the boot/startup environment and boot sector.
Even if you don't have the rescue disk, the files will be copied into place
from the CD.

To boot, you need the NT boot sector, c:\boot.ini, c:\ntldr and c:\ntdetect.
The last 3 you could copy back into plce from your backup but the boot sector
will need to be restored via the repair option (unless you use other utilities
to backup/restore boot sectors).
