BTW, there is no real DOS (boot to CS> DOS option) available in ME. Which means some DOS games which run CS> better in true DOS mode will require a reboot using a floppy disk Ironically, this is a step backwards in some regards. In the Win 3.1 era, many people used boot floppies to get a DOS setup customized to enable a game to run-- if it required EMS memory, for example, or more conventional memory than could be had loading the network, scanner (etc) drivers. Win9x made this unncessary, by making it possible to create multiple MS-DOS mode setups, loading different driver sets as required (Yes-- DOS 6.2x could do much the same with a multi-config menu system). WinME takes us a step back, by potentially requiring boot floppies again. Luckily, far fewer games/applications need such kludges anymore. ....
