I was well past that point - it was already well into the boot process for any password to be be needed (unless you installed a BIOS password). So using my suggestion above won't do a thing. I believe Alan Zisman provided the RIGHT answer to this one with his note describing how to edit C:\MSDOS.SYS to NOT prompt you for what to do. If you have problems, just post that file (it's all text) and we can point out exactly what you need to do. Also look at http://www.computerhope.com/msdossys.htm (only one of many such search results for "msdos.sys options" on Google (without the quotes)).
