Subj : Menu Error...

I'm having a slight error in a W98se machine.
During a software installation the CD-Rom died and the system was showing 
bunches of vxd errors during bootup. After reloading windows the errors 
stopped but now I get the boot up menu for choice of how do I want to log 
into windows. How could I fix this problem?
