I did and had to send off the tower to them. I got it back a week later and 
they put a new hard drive in it different from what was in it before I sent it
off. I had a Western Digital 60 gig when I got it back it was a Maxtor 60 gig.

Same company as my Hewlett Packard, so I guess it should work, maybe not 
though.
