Subj : WinXP Backup CD

I bought a computer about 1 year ago and it came with WinXP home installed on 
it. It came with no CD's but the recovery is located on a FAT32 partition as 
drive D. Is there a way to copy this recovery partition to a CD to use as a 
recovery CD or will I have to purchase the CD from the manufacturer. The 
reason I am asking is the warranty is about to run out and I have already had 
to send the tower back to HP due to the hard drive failing after just 1 month.
